If you’ve ever tried to send pictures or movie clips through your email, despite the major web based email services raising their limits, you have probably been blocked because your file is too large.

YouSendIt is a remote server that will allow you to upload a file, send an email to the person(s) to whom you wish to give the file, and then they can download it. Using the service will generate some email back to you, so you may choose to use a throwaway email address, or one dedicated to this particular type of venture.

Smaller files are free and larger ones are hosted for a small fee.
