Church Theft: A response

Friday, April 4th, 2008 @ 6:00 am

On the morning of Palm Sunday, I had a phone call on my cell as I was heading for the church. Someone had tried to steal one of our new vans. They weren’t very good at it. They broke a window and then butchered the steering column, but then couldn’t actually get it started. Anyway, our children were going to go to a Nursing Home that morning and had to reroute everything. I was three days back from Vietnam and in a fog.

I wish that I had a response a little more like Kinetic Church that meets in a theater and has to set up everything from week to week. They keep their stuff in a trailer. Their trailer got stolen with almost everything they own.

Here’s the story, from them.

Phriday foto later today.
