This is the first Easter that I have not been in Texas with my mom, and I was feeling a little sad about it, I'm not any more. I felt as though I were with family today and I am so grateful. I know God sent me to our church for a reason, maybe more than one reason, and that fills my heart with joy. It was so nice to see all the new faces today. John said at lunch that he was touched by the video and what the guy had to say. We have faced a lot of difficulties in the last two months and I know that you and the church have been a comfort to him. I happened to be watching Joel Osteen one night and he was saying that the enemy is not attacking you because of where you are, but because of where you are going. I feel that way not only for us, but for our church. The enemy is aware of what is happening now and he is worried about where SDBC is going in the future. Anyway, I just wanted to tell you how much today meant to me. We usually don't go to church when we are at my parent's for Easter, so I know that there was a benefit to not going this year. We were meant to be at our church home to celebrate this day. Thanks again, Sheila I just want to say Thank You!
