Steeples

Of course, the “Christian Scientists” have their non-steepled effort…

Just so you know, I’m not the “every church must have a steeple” guy. Ours has a peaked roof with stained glass in the peak. It’s pretty and it’s unique.
I can’t believe that, on Phriday foto your going to TELL us what your church looks like.
First, it’s my bad that this post dropped Wednesday night at almost midnight when I wrote it instead of Friday, when it was supposed to drop.
Second, Bowden, yes, but, though I have many pictures of my church, none of them are much good. Since this is Thursday as I write this and I have taken the post back down, I’ll see about correcting it tonight, if I can. Honestly, I don’t know that I have time. I am pretty busy trying to leave the country, y’know.
Sorry. Just couldn’t get it done.
Maybe when you get back. You want a picture of Southwood: we’re the church with TWO steeples!
Loved your pictures! The first one I have been seeing since I was a kid. It always reminded me of the cover of the Eagles Hotel California record.
Did you know that many architects consider Trinity Episcopal in downtown Tulsa as the greatest example of Gothic architecture, west of the Mississippi? There is even a depiction of Adolph Hitler on a stained glass window in the church. Stop by there sometime, and they will let you look around. It is pretty cool.
