		<description>That doesn&#039;t really surprise me.  A lot of older areas deal with that and most older theaters do as well.  Frankly, I wondered if it might be dealing with it now, given the location, but it was too clean and up to date - and the movie showing was obviously not an x-rated movie, though I didn&#039;t recognize it.  It seemed obvious to me that, whatever its past, it had become an independent film spot near downtown.

		<description>I don&#039;t know if you&#039;re aware of the history of the Circle Cinema.  I&#039;m not sure when it stopped being a normal movie theater, but growing up during the 70s, it was notorious for only showing pornographic movies.  My mom lives nearby, and driving past it was a pretty shady place.  Thankfully the city has taken steps to do away with much of that seediness, and it is slowly changing.  Great historical photo, and I&#039;m glad you shared it.</description>
