The Tulsa Metro Association of Baptist Churches is perhaps the most forward thinking Association in the nation. Let me assure you, it was that long before I ever heard of it. We have become the focus of study from around the Southern Baptist Convention.

The overarching theory in our organization is that the association exists to benefit the work of the churches, and the gifts given to our association are reinvested in the churches in various ways – a small portion of which is the salaries of just three employees, who work to facilitate the reinvestment of everything else.

One of the things that our Church Staff Support Team is doing is bringing in excellent leadership to speak to our churches’ staff members. Today, Reggie McNeal is spending the day with us, courtesy of the Church Staff Support Team and the TMABC.

Don’t be jealous. Move to Tulsa. :)

Nevertheless, do not fear.
