You can sign up for the Blogtown Football League through Yahoo! Sports and it is free.
We had a great turn out for the March Madness Bracket Pick and I think you may also enjoy this.
Some pertinent information:
You will need a Yahoo! id to sign up and you can get one, free, at yahoo.com.
Log onto Yahoo! Sports’ sign up webpage and enter the id & password.
ID = 295489
Password = recreation
Standings will be posted mid-week every week.
There is room for 20 teams, and the teams are pretty small to keep the talent pool sufficiently deep. Hopefully, this will create some parity and one or two teams will not be able to dominate the rest.
Also, for the sake of parity, the draft is automatic, which means you will be assigned your players. You can immediately trade or pick up free agents, if you don’t like them. Hopefully, though, this will solve both the problems of getting 20 folks together for a live draft and making sure even the uninitiated get a few good players.
This could be some good, clean fun, so I hope you will jump in. Winner at the end of the season gets a Starbucks gift card.
One more thing, do this at home and not at work. :)

Downshoredrift is ready to play. I would brag about how I am going to win and all, but with an automated draft I have no idea if I’ll win or not. I might end up with a bunch of scrubs. Just make sure that Michael Vick is not in the draft!
Rest assured, if I played, I’d win. But I’d also completely ignore everything else I’m supposed to do for the rest of the year. But just know that, had I played, you would be calling me champion.

I’m trying to figure out how to get logged back in.
I typed in the ID and password above and it gave me these errors.
The league is not in pre-draft mode. (Error #209)

Go to fantasysports.yahoo.com. Sign in with your id and password. You should see your team on the right hand side of the page.
