The old saying I have heard is that Ed, "really put that one in our mailbox."

After his message I had to go to that meeting room that is the best barometer of the effectiveness of a message. There were five men I would consider to be older messengers (over 60) in line in front of me. One of them said words to this effect: "That boy can really preach". Another immediately replied, "And he really knows what he is talking about". All the others agreed. You could not have gotten a more positive response if you had announced free chocolate cake in the lobby.

Agreement is one thing. Following through is another but Ed's words may serve to change the mindset of a lot of us and get us going in the right direction.
