Welcome to the new place.
I now own my own domain and bandwidth, etc. Yeah, me! ;)
Jump in with comments. As of right now, you have to have your comment approved. I may be able to change this, but I am unsure. I have switched software, as well. After you get one comment approved, it should let you post directly to the blog from that point on.
Use this as your initiation, if you want. More to come soon.

Welcome to your new home on the web. I really like the layout. Simple. Clean. Crisp. You must be very proud.
The good news for me is that I can now access your site from my work, which I could not do before. Of course, as of yesterday I can no longer access the SBC Outpost from work, so you will have to do :>).

Welcome to the world of “real” blogging. Doing so using wordpress and your own domain name makes a world of difference! I’m with the other guys, congratulations!
Today you’ve become a man (at least in the blogging sense!) :-)

Let’s all give props to the Wizard of the Web (at least among Baptist Bloggers) David Phillips. Not to take anything from Joe Kennedy, who is still helping so many and to whom I owe my previous template.
Still, David has been working on this deal more than I have and I am grateful. I told him that the next time we are together in the same place – even if it is as far out as San Antonio – I will buy him food. I still get the better end of the deal, don’t you think?
Comments are fixed – anyone may post. Word verification is coming soon, according to David. If I start getting spammed before it arrives, I will put the moderation thing on again until everything is right.
Thanks for the congrats.

I don’t know if it matters, but I can’t read Art’s comments. Just a big white square. Might just be my computer, but thought I’d help out if David Phillips needed the information to fine tune the site.

Note to self, evaluate with IE 6…Looks great in firefox, stinks in IE6. FYI…IE6 is OOOLLLLLDDD! Think 2001 as the last update and it’s not standards compatible…
I’ll check on it…

Okay, don’t know if you fixed it yet, but I switched to IE 7 and I can now read Art’s comments.
I miss the days when the customer was always right. Sigh. ;)

Hopefully this fixes the issues with IE. You gotta have IE 7 for it to work though. Sorry Dorcas, but in the world of technology and Web 2.0, you gotta keep up to date :-D

Wanted to sign in – good look. Can’t read your comments, though – just a big white space.
Typepad is much more user friendly than WordPress, by the way. It works for the technologically unimpressive like myself.

Ok…did some more work and testing. Art’s comments should show up normal like everyone else’s when using IE6.
Hopefully, this settles the issues :-D

Great new site. I’m really just checking to see if I’m doing things right and if my comments, were I do do such a thing, come through.

Looks good! I’m glad you didn’t go with some tiny font or weird color scheme. I can actually read everything.
