can someone resubmit leaving out the part about having worked for an entity? In other words, the part about husbands/wives serving at the same time and cureently receiving money from an entity would invalidate you from serving on that trustee committee?

far from hoodwinked. At NOBTS, the number of student wives that worked full time for the seminary or lifeway was significant. I am would be disqualified as well as my closest friends and none of us would ever be considered apart of the network. Well, we would also never be nominated but that isn't the point. the spirit of the recommendation is dead on but the more work needs to be done to get the best guidelines without creating another barrier.

Great work! I'm a full supporter of your efforts. I am not at all trying to be critical.
In Christ,
Perry

Is there any way to get with E.C. folks to see if they will bring the same motion to the floor ASAP Wednesday, and create an exception clause for the categories mentioned in Sanderson's motion?

The official guidelines for ethical qualifications have been greatly diluted by this action. One would assume, that to use the verb "hoodwinked" the user would be implying "with intent."

Art:

You typed, ". . . The restriction is pulled and the convention has no idea that they have been hoodwinked." Please elaborate on the "hoodwinked" part.
