I am going to post an article tonight/late this afternoon.
In the meantime, here are a few questions:
Is the Caucus Group at the IMB BOT working on its own or is it taking orders from others?
What things would tell us?
Is the “Power Structure” at work right now within the blogosphere?
What would be the end goal of such a work?
Is there such a thing as a “Power Structure” anymore, or has it become splintered? If so, would a group separating and operating on its own be evidence of that?

Don’t know much about the PS.
Generally, it seems they avoid the public (information is power) and try to keep us all in the dark.
I think they’re too busy trying to script Greensboro to worry about the blogosphere, though some of their supporters are posting and blogging.
Yeah, the PS is splintered. In the past, they could count on my vote and others like me. Not this year. And state denominational leaders are bucking the PS, along with a contended presidential race.
I predict we’ll get trounced at Greensboro. They have the system that is virtually a lock-out for dissenters and I doubt we have the staying power or desire to organize at the level it will take to accomplish real change.
But who knows what God may do with some righteously indignant radicals?!?!

Rod,
They are all over the blogs right now. You should see what I get logged on my stat checker. It is worrying certain ones to an early grave.
I am not talking about the PS as it relates to us. I am talking about hte structure that is currently in place all over the country. Quite a few of them seem to be exercising tremendous amounts of individualism.
More in a few minutes.

I know a handful that are tremendously close to the major major personalities who have recently told me that they are splintered among themselves more than most realize. There are also dissenters who have not spoken up yet who will be attending Greensboro…some of whom may surprise the Inner Circle.
In addition, regional leaders like C.J. Bordeaux in NC have begun speaking out. C.J. is as conservative as Patterson and is known for his strong will. He’s a big name in NC/SC and is also on the Executive Committee. As C.J. goes, many will go with him.
I think TPTB may be underestimating the blogosphere. First of all, they fear it, because it is an unknown quantity that they cannot control. What’s more, they have no way to gauge the readership of the blogs. In addition, blogs provide an easy way for what they say to be soundly refuted. Some of us are masters of deconstruction and don’t mind posting long amounts of text that closely examine what other bloggers have written, much less what these individuals say and do on their own. When it comes to accomplishing things by force of argument, you can’t beat the blogs. People aren’t stupid, they can tell who knows what they are talking about and who is shown to be foolish.
In addition, the TPTB are out of their element in location this year. Don’t underestimate the drive-in messengers, who generally outnumber those who are in the area from out of town. The local people here tend not to be as tolerate of antics like Hatley’s and they will be asked to vote for Frank Page who is literally a local boy, being from Greensboro as well as in SC and NC as a whole and Ronnie Floyd who would be known to them by way of his TBN broadcasts, which really isn’t exactly a good way for him to be perceived. I can hear it now, “Who are you votin’ fur, Brother?” “Well, Page is from Greensboro, I know him. All I know about Floyd is what I catch on TBN.” “TBN?! I keep that blocked from my TV.”
